Halloween Mega-Post

Whoa. The busy Halloween "season" is over, and I have a LOT of photos to show for it. First a couple of events: the "Procession of the Ghouls" at St. John the Divine, and the Central Park Pumpkin Float.

Cathedral interior; silent film shown on that screen in the background.

Now for our costumes: Burke was one of the assassins from the movie You're Next, and I was a cat (or perhaps Princess Mononoke).

Psychotic assassins love eating at Pret a Manger.

*hissssss*

CELL PHONES BODY OIL!

Washington Square Park.
My "claws."

And here are my photos from the Village Halloween Parade...

Stay Puft, bro!

Frank the Rabbit from Donnie Darko!

Not a great photo, but definitely a great costume: Bacon and Eggs!

An incredible Van Gogh.

The famous Jefferson Market Spider made an appearance this year! And even the Empire State Building seemed to be celebrating, with festive orange and white lights.
Spider puppet that dangles over the parade.

Well, if you made it this far, you deserve a prize for enduring my extended "slideshow." :) Hope you all had a great Halloween!
